London Recruits won best documentary film at the Joburg Film Festival in March. The film tells the story of the young women and men who undertook secret missions for the ANC in the bleakest years of the apartheid regime. It will be released in the UK later this year. In his acceptance speech, director Gordon Main spoke about the continuing importance of international solidarity and expressed support for the people of Gaza, and for victims of conflict in Congo and Sudan.
